I’m Siddharth Anoop of St Thomas Central School 7E.
I have some doubts about HIV and AIDS.
1) Are HIV and AIDS same❓
2) How do they affect the immune system❓
3) If a person gets infected with these, how much time would they have left to live❓

AIDS(Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) is a disease caused by HIV(Human Immunodeficiency Virus). It affects the body by weakening the immune system. Life expectancy is about 20 to 36 years less than that of a normal human. Hope it helps!😀
